With a love for music, and photography, Jay had a vision of bringing visibility to the music scene in the GTA. In 2023, the vision came to life with the birth of LoudTO!

Originally from England, Dan moved to Canada in 2006 and has been working in the entertainment industry with various sales roles at Deluxe, Prime Focus and DAX in Los Angeles.

Since 2002 Dan has been operating as a professional photographer based in Lincoln Ontario covering weddings, events and live music.

"I discovered a love for live music photography after taking my camera and 135mm lens to an event about 18 months ago, and kind of accidentally photographed the band 54:40 when they appeared on stage that night. I couldn't believe how much fun it was to photograph bands in action, and now I can't stop. I mainly cover the events between Hamiltion and Niagara Falls area."

"I’ve always had a keen interest in cameras since the 35 mm film days as a kid, and owned many digital cameras along the way. Today I shoot with the Sony A7S III & A7 IV and the Sony 135mm GM, Sony 85mm f1,8, Sony 35mm F1.8 as primary choices. I also work on various video projects and enjoy lighting and cinematography."

Michael was reacquainted with photography during covid. What started as a way to enjoy his walks in nature, soon turned into a passion which led to a feature in Our Canada magazine and a gallery exhibition where his was one of the few pieces of art to sell.

From nature, he turned to wrestling photography, combining his love of photography with his life long love for wrestling.  His photos can be seen on wrestlers' t-shirts as well as in promotional material and programs.

Now,  he has turned his attention to the music scene to capture live events for the LoudTO readership.
